1. Sgt. Lewis Wesley Leber was interviewed on 2/24/78 at Headquarters TAC Place Bldg. #693, Langley AFB, VA.
2. Leber stated that Capt. William C. Stanley, Special Security Officer for HQ TACT-Intelligence, had worked under Major Rudolph Gobel in 1970 and/or 1971.
3. Leber knew Stanley for approximately 2-3 months but did not recall any conversations with him regarding the JFK assassination, Russia, Cuba, or Mexico.
4. Stanley was described as an ex-enlisted man who served 16 years in the Army and was about 38 years old in 1970.
5. It is believed that Stanley left the service and went to study law at the University of Miami (Florida) in 1971.
6. Two servicemen, Larry F. Caison and Chief Master Sergeant Charles Fischer, served under Capt. Stanley, but their whereabouts are unknown.
7. Leber's interview was conducted with the presence of two military personnel from the USAF Office of Special Investigations, who were asked to leave the room to help Leber relax and encourage freer recall.
8. The sensitive nature of military activities at Langley AFB required DOD approval for the interview, which was acquired prior to scheduling contact with Sgt. Leber.
