John F. Kennedy, assassination, investigations, related individuals and events:

* December 17, 1963: Dr. Francois Duvalier, President of Haiti, requests the recall of three US Embassy officials: John W. Marrin, Military Attache; Stanley D. Moss, Cultural Attache; and a USASEC (political officer).
* The Haitian Government has instructed the State Department to discuss this question after the President has credentials, but these officials will not be recalled unless they are declared persona non grata.
* John W. Marrin is suspected of plotting against the Haitian Government with high-ranking officers in the Haitian Army.
* Stanley D. Moss is a declared enemy of the Haitian Government and has been involved in activities hostile to the government.
* Norman Warner, US Embassy official, is also requested to depart due to his categorical opposition to the Haitian Government during events in April and May.
* Ambassador Timmons has produced a bad impression and it would be advisable for him to be recalled before presenting credentials.
* The Haitian Government requests that the US maintain a friendly and cordial basis with Haiti.
